The Houston Texans went on the road with a mission. That mission was to make good on the Coaches decision to either win this game, keep the Mighty, Mighty Titans under 39 points or go into early retirement. Playing with a chip on their shoulder after reading "Pappy's Picks" the Houston Texans decided to take matters into their own hands. The game started out with a bang as the Texans were able to mount a time consuming opening drive that ended in a Kory Sheets 15 yard Td run. After getting a big stop on 4th and one by Demecko Ryans the Texans then went on a 9 minute drive and finished it off with a 26 yard TD run by Steve Slaton. Of course a bulk of the load went to the newly aquired Jamal Lewis. He signed a 5 year 30 million Dollar deal to become a Texan. The Coach knew that Jamal still had a lot left in the tank and it showed as Jamal immediately made a game changing impact. He was absolutley brutal between the tackles going for 109 yards and 1 TD. The Three Headed Texan is alive and well. Down 14 to nothing in the second quarter the Titans found a way to score a TD with an electrifying 26 yard run by Vick. The one and only lethal weapon running qb. That was a great set of play calls by Tenn that posession. The following drive led to a missed fg by the Texans. We let the clock get away and had to rush the kick a little bit. Matt Schaub was quoted as saying "We knew we had to get some points out of that drive but we ran a little too much clock." That clock management will be looked at in the next coaches meeting. In the second half it was more of the same as the Texans Offensive line continued to run block like madmen with one more rushing TD and finally working the clock in the final quarter as time expired. "Im proud of my guys today, I didn't want to go out with a loss." "We came to play and it showed."The Defense limited Larry Johnson to 8 yards on 3 carries and held No "sean John" Moreno to 28 yards on 4 attempts. It was a well rounded defensive effort. Fabian Washington managed to get another Interception on the season...He is really proving his weight in gold.....Overall I'd say the Texans played well and are only going to get better. Thanks again to the fans for supporting the team in these tough economic times and Hats off to the Tenn organization for a good effort out there today.Unfortunately the Texans three headed moster proved too much to handle to the tune of 262 yards rushing total in the game. Good Game Shiz.

Thanks Box!!! Nah, I wasn't going out like that. I told Shiz I would come to play that game. I make good on my promises. I would have left the League too. I don't see any more bets like that being made.lol
